The OCYRs enjoyed hosting the Mayor, who explained some nuances of Winter Park politics.

This meeting featured standing room only attendance– many people wanted to hear the Mayor speak and many more were called to participate in the presidential election.
2008-09 OCYR President and 2009-10 Immediate Past President Chris Carmody was appointed the Parliamentarian by 2009-10 President Christina Dixon to manage the election.

After listening to those who support and disagree with his interpretation, the Parliamentarian decides: “Rules are rules.” Accordingly, the club acclaims its new President (Eddie Fernandez) and Treasurer (Matt Klein).
